Saturday 29th September – bike **** Felixstowe to Levington. Sunny and warm.

Another lovely day in Felixstowe, nice morning at home exercises, gardening, window cleaning then I made a salad, oiled our freshly cleaned bikes and headed out in search for a spot for a picnic. Although a sunny day you needed your light jacket on as a chilly breeze, we decided head to the River Orwell along our favourite tree lined route. At Loompit lake we turned right to Levington Marina and sat on a seat by the chandlery for lunch watching lots of yacht action on the river. We returned along the roads through Trimley, not our favourite as the cars whiz by too close:( A pleasant 1hr. 45mins. covering 11 miles with a top speed of 17.74kts.
